Explore Milton Keynes via our Cultural Routes!

These routes showcase different areas of explore Milton Keynes and are perfect for a leisurely afternoon walk, run or ride. There are 5 main routes, each around 10 miles long with a 5 mile short cut. The routes encompass points of interest, heritage, public art and cultural venues around Milton Keynes.

Grand tour:

Based around a central Grand Tour (blue route) you can branch off onto the other four routes to explore even more. Mix and match the trails you want to do and increase your distance in multiples of 5 miles.

Once you have picked a route that interests you, download more information about the trail and read about the art and heritage you can see whilst you are out and about.

Explore the central northern areas of Milton Keynes with the blue route, which highlights both ancient and modern Milton Keynes.

Whilst also following part of the Millennium Cycle Route, this route takes you past St Andrews Church, Great Linford Brick Kilns, the Gyosei Art Trail, the Light Pyramid in Campbell Park, the iconic Concrete Cows and Bradwell Windmill.

Pedalling Culture, together with Milton Keynes Council, is launching five brand new culture trails that form the Grand Tour. To everyone from, members of walking groups and local cycling clubs, to those just interested in getting out and about.

The trails encompass cultural venues, public art, and points of heritage interest along the way, and range from 5 to 10 miles in distance.
